What To Do?

I am running into a little problem. As some of you may know, I am moving to Austin and looking to open a dojo under Bushey Sensei. I am unsure how this will impact brandon-san.com. Do I continue blogging after Austin or do I close it and redirect to my new dojo website?

Both sides have pros and cons. I have around 3+ years of training history on this blog and would hate to see it go, but on the other hand I don't want my future students to be confused between brandon-san and my new dojo site (TBA).

I am leaning towards consolidating into one site (dojo site) and possibly archiving all my training history. Do any of you have any thoughts on this issue? Feel free to leave a comment.

Keep 'em separate

Me personally, I'd copy the content over to the new site but keep this site separate.

Good idea

I think keeping both sites is a fine idea, frankly. I am not sure why future students would be confused by this site, but a simple change in the format of the page could fix that; include a paragraph at the top under the Brandon-san.com banner at the top that explains what this blog's purpose is, and redirecting them to the dojo website if that is what they wish to read instead.

Oops

That was Gabriel Garcia, btw.

google

ok,i was googling and randomly typed in my 4 year old sons name and there you pop up. freeking weird, i read your blog tho, hope you dont think im weird.

Site

After talking with Bushey Sensei, I decided I will continue brandon-san.com. The new dojo site will be up in a month or two, but it will mainly be static (not changing) content. I will continue to do my main blogging at brandon-san.com.

Thank you all for your input. In a way, you all kind of saved brandon-san.com!
