South by south west was huge this year. It felt like it doubled in size since last year, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Luckily, I was able to get two additional days of training in with Sekiguchi Sensei and Shimizu Senesi before they left Texas. I know Yung (a newer Iaijutsu student) took a couple of group pictures and I will post them as soon as I can.
This weekend I plan to rest. I did a lot of traveling last week and more travel is to come next weekend. Besides the month being a little hectic, I also have to make a personal decision on training before I leave. Part of me wants to continue focusing on chuden material to test before I leave, and another part of me wants to stop that all together... redirecting my focus to the entire naginata/iaijutsu system before I leave.
I will think it over and talk with Bushey Sensei on what he thinks I should do.
