Mandi and I are leaving tonight for Fort Worth. She is having a baby shower and it should be a fun trip. In general though, I am tired of traveling... but this should be the last trip for a while.
I let Bushey Sensei know that I am abandoning chuden menkyo for now to focus on tightening up my naginata and iai kata. Simple things like nukitsuke and noto, if not clean, are easy to pass on wrong. Getting the entire system on video is my only other goal before I leave. I will probably start filming on Saturdays and just go through entire sets starting from shoden to okuden. Naginata and bunkai will also be filmed so I can review in case I ever have a question in Austin.
Normal training for me should resume on Tuesday.
Videotaping everything sounds like a great idea.
Any chance you will be sharing a couple of these videos, or clips of them?
