I have been thinking about getting a naginata shinken. First, I looked for decent bare blades, but those seem hard to find unless you go for an antique. Now I am thinking about possibly getting a paul chen naginata. The blade and saya are decent on the chen nagianta but I think I will get the ebu (shaft) redone. I would like for it to be longer and possibly modify the placement of the fittings.
Just thinking aloud right now, but it may work out. If any of you know another place to get a naginata or decent naginata blade, let me know.
